Our 415 acre estate is home to the Nielson Vineyard which is the first commercial vineyard in Santa Barbara County planted in 1964. We also work with multiple highly regarded vineyards in Santa Maria Valley and Santa Rita Hills.|
We are seeking an enthusiastic intern who is willing to help with all aspects of pre-harvest and harvest cellar work. This is a unique position which will start in July to assist with racking, blending, filtering, and bottling 2015 wines, then lead into harvest and finish up at the end of September. Byron consists of a small team, so it is essential that the intern have a good attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning and being involved in all aspects of hands-on winemaking.
