|Job Title||Harvest Intern 2017|
|Company Name||Trefethen Family Vineyards|
|Company Description||We are a family owned estate winery in the Oak Knoll District with 450 planted acres. Our location allows us to successfully grow a range of cultivars including riesling, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot, malbec, and petit verdot. In addition to our main ranch on the valley floor, we have a hillside property nearby devoted exclusively to Bordeaux varietals. We believe the best way to produce wines of the highest quality is to be in control of each step of the process from growing the grapes to bottling the finished wines. Our vineyard and winemaking teams work hand in hand to craft classic Napa wines that are a reflection of the Oak Knoll District.
Trefethen Family Vineyards is looking for enthusiastic and passionate applicants for our winery intern positions. The internship program at Trefethen runs from July until December, and includes exposure to all facets of wine production. The interns play a vital role in assessing vineyard block maturity, preparing the winery for harvest, receiving/processing fruit, monitoring fermentations, performing lab analysis, and gathering data to enhance the production of premium wines.
