Company Description Cass Vineyard & Winery Is located on the east side of Paso Robles in the Geneseo District. Cass Vineyard is 146 acres of Rhone and Bordeaux varieties. We will be processing approximately 230 tons of grapes for 2017 focusing mostly on Rhones. We are looking for a harvest intern to join our small two person team. The means the intern will be hands on and involved in every aspect of production
Job Description

Duties include, but not necessarily limited to, those associated with:
•       Cleaning/sanitizing equipment and winery
•       Receiving/processing fruit
•       Fermentation monitoring and management 
•       Additions and inoculations
•       Draining and pressing
•       Setting up and cleaning equipment
•       Prepping new and used barrels
•       Racking, topping, general cellar work, as needed
•       Vineyard Sampling. 

Ideal candidate must be hard-working, honest, and reliable.  Must be in good physical condition and able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and sometimes stressful environment.  A keen attention to detail coupled with the ability to follow directions are required.  
Requirements:
•       Ability to work for long hours standing, kneeling, etc. in a wide range of temperatures
•       Must be able to carry 50lbs
•       Ability to safely ascend/descend stairs or ladders carrying a load
•       Reliable transportation and valid DL
•       Eligible to work in the US
•       Detail oriented
•       Must have a flexible schedule that will include late nights and weekends.
