Major job responsibility will be to obtain plant water status using a pressure chamber.
Other job duties may include assisting the viticulture staff with data collection of phenological stages, crop size, vine fertility, pest monitoring, maturity sampling and other vineyard related tasks.
This Internship with J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines will expose the employee to approximately 3,000 acres of vineyards in the Paso Robles AVA, consisting primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah and Syrah. The internship will also involve some time in Greenfield which will give some experience in the Monterey AVA, where we grow primarily Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
