Robert Hall Winery is looking for Intern Wine Enthusiasts to join our team. We are a family owned and operated winery located on Highway 46.
Assists in all phases of wine making process, as well as care, maintenance, and sanitation of all equipment and facilities. Candidates should strive to learn something new each day, while being proactive and attentive to crafting high-end wines.

Job Description:
SUMMARY: The RH Intern provides support to the Winemakers, Laboratory, Cellar, Tasting Room, and Kitchen departments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with cellar/tasting room operations
• Assist the tasting room team with set up/tear down
• Uphold all food health, safety, and sanitation principles
• Ability to provide exceptional guest service, creating a fun, educational and memorable experience for all winery guests
• Ability to learn our history and share it, while conducting tours for large groups
• Answer phone calls and email for tasting reservations and guest service requests
• Assist with wine club membership(s) and special event activities
• Assist in the kitchen as needed
• Bussing tables as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly tasting room environment
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
• Provide support in the back of house operations, including culinary activities and operations
• Ability to work as a team and support all team members and leaders
• Other projects and duties as assigned as needed

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior experience in retail/hospitality/winery and/or tasting room operations desirable
• Ability to acquire (Servsafe) food safety certificate
• Ability to acquire the (RBS) Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
• Experience with computers with a POS system desirable
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Lift, move and stack boxes up to 45 lbs
• Ability to work outside in hot or cold weather
