Eden Rift Vineyards
Hollister, CA
Located in Hollister, CA, we started a new label from the 2016 vintage, all from estate fruit. The estate currently has 120 acres planted, mostly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with an additional few acres of old vine Zin, Pinot Gris, and Grenache. We also have an operating olive mill on site.
We are looking for a few experienced interns who will get hands-on experience with everything.
Candidates will have an eye for detail, an inclination for making quality Pinot and Chardonnay, not
afraid to get wet or dirty, and a good team ethic.
Job duties include, but not limited to:
• Processing and sorting fruit
• Fermentation management
• Lab analysis
• Additions
• Operating destemmer and press
• Barrel work
• Vineyard sampling and more, if desired
• Sensory analysis
Hours vary depending on harvest, but there will be long days. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and
maintain a good attitude in a positive atmosphere. Positions start mid to late August, and can go
through to the end of October or mid-December, if there is interest in olive oil production. There is
also a chance for a permanent position in the cellar.
