Job Description:
Paul Hobbs Wines is seeking an intern to join the vineyard team for the 2018 season and harvest. Dedication to wine quality, a strong work ethic, attention to details, and a great attitude are of the utmost importance.
The intern will be responsible for all collection of vineyard data, assisting with vineyard operations, fruit sampling prior to harvest, and working picks during harvest time. This position will be majority field work with some office/lab work included.
Candidates would ideally have some vineyard experience or a curricular focus on viticulture/agriculture/plant sciences. This job consists of frequent labor-intensive work in the field in challenging conditions. Attention to detail and familiarity with field data collection is a must. Work leading up to, and during harvest consists of very early morning or nighttime hours.
