Job Description:
This position will participate in all aspects of harvest responsibilities, including: Grape maturity sampling and analysis, harvest preparation, fruit processing, barrel work, fermentation monitoring, cap management and general winery sanitation.
Interns will work closely with winemaker to ensure fruit quality thorough the process. Candidates should have a passion for wine, a keen attention to detail, a sense of urgency as well as a positive attitude.
Harvest internships at Bell Wine Cellars typically start in mid August and end mid to late November early December.
Interns must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and work 6 days a week through harvest.
Prior winery experience is helpful.
