Mount Eden Vineyards (MEV) is an historic vineyard site dating back to the 1940’s and home to the longest continuous lineage of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in North America. MEV is an estate bottled winery producing critically acclaimed Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon in the Santa Cruz Mountains. We tend around 50 acres of mountain vineyards 2000 ft above Silicon Valley on two different sites. Distributed internationally, we are dedicated to making first class wine that is truly made in the vineyard.
Learn what it is like to work at an estate bottled winery, where everyone does everything. Majority of the work is in the vineyard with select cellar duties. Tasks are as follows:

-Canopy management
-Weed abatement
-Vineyard repair

-Pump overs
-Processing (crush and fill tanks)
-Barreling down
-Barrel washing

-Hard worker with good work ethic. No job is beneath you
-Be able to work 8 hours at physically demanding tasks
-Be able to lift and maneuver barrels
-Be able to drive manual forklift
-Interest in working at a fine wine company
Housing is available.

The latest time to start is 6/15/19. You will be expected to work 40 hours per week with overtime during peak harvest.

Potential for full time employment if it is a good fit. That includes a raise, paid vacation and paid health insurance.
