Levo Wine is a small Rhône house located in the heart of Tin City. Sourcing from some of the best growers in Santa Barbara County, San Luis Obispo County, and West Side Paso Robles, Levo has spent the last 8 years honing these distinctive sites. We are looking for a self motivated, focused wine enthusiast who would be psyched about our progressive winemaking style. This is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience with all facets of harvest activity and work with some of the best vineyards on the Central Coast. Our team is small, and one chosen individual will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of harvest for 2019.
Under the supervision of the winemaking staff, intern will be expected to perform a variety of tasks that cover all aspects of production. This includes but is not limited to:

- Cleaning and sanitation of winery and equipment
- Monitor fermentations, collect tank samples, check Brix and temperatures
- Enter analysis results in winemaking database and Excel spreadsheets
- Crushpad and fruit processing
- Cap management tasks
- Inoculations and additions to juice/wine
- Winery equipment operations
- Wine and juice transfers and racking
- Barrel work

- Able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. in weight independently, and up to 100 lbs. or more with assistance.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic math skills
- Previous winemaking experience is desired but not required
- Hard working, ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be flexible to work long hours and on weekends (up to 12 hours + at the height of harvest)
- Proficient in MS Excel, detail oriented, good observation and analytical skills
- Valid CA ID required
