Vincent Arroyo Family Winery in Calistoga is looking for a lab and cellar worker to help us bring in our 2019 wine grape harvest. We are a small winery producing dry-farmed estate wines from 10 different varietals across over 70 acres of vineyard all located in Calistoga. We have been growing grapes from the early 70’s and began wine production in the early 80’s. The applicant would be working side by side with the cellar master and winemaker. Pre-harvest operations will include sampling blocks for maturity & cleaning and preparing winery for harvest. Responsibilities during harvest include sorting and processing fruit, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, fermentation monitoring, pump operation & barrel work.
Vincent Arroyo Family Winery is looking for a highly motivated individual who possesses a keen attention to detail. This individual must be prepared to work hard and be flexible for hours and days needed (which includes weekends). The internship begins in early August and possibly ending in November. Previous harvest experience is appreciated but not required. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, able to lift 50 lbs, able to climb up and down ladders & have a great attitude.

Minimum requirements:

Valid driver’s license
High School or equivalent education
Previous harvest experience preferred but not required
Must be able to work from August thru November with a flexible work week schedule
Must be able to climb stairs, stoop, bend & lift as well as be able to sit and stand for extended periods
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
