We are a small family run winery with a bitchin' 40 acre vineyard on 1500 acres of land. We raise grass-fed beef and lamb for meat (just one of the perks). Our new property and tasting room is right on Vineyard drive where we have 25 acres of walnuts.
We just moved facilities into a new winery and the winemaker needs some help for harvest. It would just be you and the winemaker, meaning there would be one on one personal teaching and training in all things vineyard and Winery. You will have the opportunity to be in the vineyard while doing green drop, picking, and irrigation sets. In the winery, you will be sorting grapes, cleaning and managing equipment/ barrels, managing ferments, etc. Tasting room work could be available as well.
Winemaker is flexible with scheduling. If you want to still attend classes in the fall, while working harvest, fine. If you want to work full time between winery, vineyard, and tasting room, we can make that work too. You'll have a great experience and learn tons.
