Sanford Winery & Vineyards is located in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills A.V.A. of Santa Barbara County, California. Our estate has two adjacent vineyards, La Rinconada and Sanford & Benedict Vineyard, encompassing over 200 acres from where we source all of our Pinot noir and Chardonnay.

Job Description:
We are looking for one candidate who is hard-working, thorough, and has a strong interest in the production of quality Pinot noir & Chardonnay wines.
It is preferable that he/she has prior work experience in the winery/laboratory and has completed or is continuing coursework in Viticulture and Enology.
The ideal person would be a team-player, who is naturally motivated, has a good work ethic and pays close attention to detail.
The Harvest Enology Intern is responsible for running the majority of the laboratory analysis, entering data, and communicating all information to Winemaker/Associate Winemaker in a thorough and timely manner. In addition, daily tasks will include fermentation checks and additions, as well as vineyard sampling & cellar work as needed.
Applicants must be able to lift 50lbs, have reliable housing and transportation, and be at least 21 years of age.
Fork lift certification will be provided.
