We are a small Bordeaux varietal producer in the Alexander Valley looking for a hard working cellar hand. One that enjoys working in a team environment which would consist of the winemaker, the assistant, and yourself. No experience is needed but a can do attitude is a must.

This is a seasonal position from approximately August through November.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for performing a variety of cellar operations including but not limited to:
• Cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning
• Grape receiving activities
• Wine/must movements
• Additions to wines/musts
• Cap management practices
• Fermentation monitoring
• Barrel activities (cleaning/filling)
• Equipment and tank sanitation
• Other tasks as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have a positive attitude
• Must be reliable, on-time, and engaged
• The ability to work both independently and as a team member
• Ability to understand and comply with all safety requirements
• Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
• Effective communication skills
• Good reading, writing and math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in various temperatures
