Cellar Hand
Seasonal F/T
Irvine and Roberts Vineyards
Ashland, Oregon
Irvine & Roberts Family Vineyards is a family winery in Ashland, Oregon, where we practice sustainable farming and produce ultra-premium Pinot noir and Chardonnay. Our high altitude vineyard is adorned with distinctive soils, climate, and east facing slopes that produce wines with extraordinary balance, flavor and intensity. We believe great wines come from great soil, so we strive to be conscientious stewards of the land, protecting our vineyard soils through practices that are certified sustainable by LIVE and Salmon Safe. We admit to being obsessive with our grape growing practices to ensure quality in the vineyard, keeping grape yields low and production limited to ensure the optimal health of the vine; allowing us to produce exceptional Pinot noir and Chardonnay with elegance and balance.

Hello everyone, we are looking for 2 Seasonal Cellar Hands to help us in Southern Oregon for the 2021 Vintage. These positions will start mid August and finish mid November depending on the harvest season. You will work an average of 50-60 hours per week. Wages are competitive with industry averages and based on experience.

Us: We are a small winery called Irvine & Roberts Vineyards. Our focus is on guiding Pinot Noir and Chardonnay through their grape to wine journey, with purity and precision from our 40 acres of 100% estate grown fruit. We also have some small blocks of Pinot Meunier and Gamay, which we are open to getting a little weird.

Place: In the Rogue Valley AVA, located just outside Ashland, the ‘cultural capital’ of Southern Oregon. If you enjoy exploring the outdoors on your days off, there is amazing hiking, mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding and river rafting all easily accessible in the area. Also, we have a great downtown full of places to eat, drink, shop, and watch Shakespeare performances.

You: Are a self starter that pays attention to the details and has a passion to learn more about winemaking. Experience is helpful but not required. You will be a vital part of the entire winemaking process from sampling grapes for ripeness to barrelling down the wines when they finish fermentation. It is important to be able to read, write, and speak in English.
It is essential that you enjoy listening to various genres of music, while also drinking various styles of wine and beer (after work is done of course).

If you are interested in applying or have any questions for us, please send an email with a quick description of yourself, along with a resume/cv and some professional references to
