This team member will start as part of a two-person team in our tasting operation to train as a bar back and as pouring staff. We like to provide personal, excellent and educational customer service to all visitors. We pour wine, talk a little, answer questions and try to sell some wine in the process.
Besides talking about wine all day (fun) daily activities include schlepping the tables and chairs out (not as fun) and into our outdoor tasting area, (back to fun) interacting with customers, selling wine, washing and polishing glasses, packing purchases for customers and carrying to their cars when needed, restocking shelves, cleaning up, other things as they arise. Lifting 50 lbs repeatedly is required for carrying wine. 21 years old is a must. Wine experience of any kind is required, with wine service preferred. We are open weekends only for now - Saturdays are a must. The occassional Sunday may occur. We like to be flexible. When we can host tastings inside, we will add days to our tasting schedule.
Email a resume and cover letter to Paula Dooley. Please do not come in person quite yet.

Include your availability and why you want to work in a tasting room.
