We are seeking positive, enthusiastic, detail-oriented individuals that work well within a team environment.

We are part of the Jackson Family Wines team of wineries and you will have the opportunity to work with Freemark Abbey, Kendall-Jackson, Bootleg and Arrowood wines. You will be exposed to several varietals sourced from our vineyards across Napa and Sonoma counties.
$16.50-21/ hr

Job Roles / Responsibilities

Working in an indoor / outdoor facility and reporting to directions given by the Cellar Master and Forepersons, the successful applicant will have opportunities to learn the following:

White wine pressing and additions
Red fermentation management – pump overs, rack & returns.
Barrel work – filling, racking and topping.
Racking, transferring and the movement of juice and wine.
The use of all cellar equipment (and most importantly) it’s cleaning & sanitizing.
Following and observing all safe cellar practices

Requirements

Previous harvest experience is preferred but not 100% necessary and a degree in winemaking/enology is favorable.
Effective communication skills in English.
The ability to work long hours through the busy harvest time.
Ability to lift 50lbs as required.
The successful applicant must provide their own transportation while some assistance will be provided to help find housing.
All applicants must pass a drug and physical test after receiving an offer of employment to be eligible to commence employment.
