We are seeking motivated, hard-working and intellectually curious individuals to join us in vinifying the 2021 harvest. Tasks include but are not limited to:

-Walking vineyards and collecting samples throughout many pristine Napa Valley sites
-Analyzing those samples and reporting those data to drive picking decisions
-Analyzing incoming fruit, which dictates winemaking decisions
-Tracking fermentations in tank and barrel to help ensure qualitative standards are upheld
-All manner of cellar operations including but not limited to sanitation, fruit processing, yeast inoculations, pumping over, pressing & barreling down.
-Additions to must and wines

Harvest time is the most challenging part of the year, but also the most fun and rewarding. The production team at Lewis Cellars is a small, tight-knit group which holds in common a heartfelt commitment to quality. We strive every year to produce the most exceptional wines. If you want to be a part of producing something great, then this may be the position for you.

The internship will run from late August through November, 2021. Pay is dependent upon experience. Our winery is located eight minutes north of downtown Napa. Previous harvest experience is a plus, but not a prerequisite. Along with your resume, please write a brief cover letter explaining who you are and why you want to work at Lewis Cellars.
