2021 Harvest Cellar Intern (Multiple Positions Available)

Le Vigne Winery is the culmination of a love of food, wine and family shared by owners Walter and Sylvia Filippini. Our goal is to create unique wines that portray characteristics of the vineyard and vintage that produced them. We are hiring for multiple full-time harvest cellar positions starting as early as July 5th and continuing through December with the possibility of a fulltime position. Come join our small production team and gain experience working in a multi-faceted winery!
July 6th
Thanksgiving, at the earliest
-Execute routine barrel work including filling, racking and topping
-Perform harvest tasks including pump overs, punch downs, inoculations, chemical additions, racking, digging out tanks, cleaning and sanitizing
-Read, follow and complete written work orders
-Follow necessary safety protocols and wear proper PPE
-Assist on the bottling line as needed
-Assist with winery events
-Other duties as assigned
-Be available to work 6 days/week, weekends, overtime and holidays during the harvest season
-Ability to lift 50 pounds, repeatedly walk up and down stairs, work in confined spaces and both hot and cold environments
-High school diploma or GED
-Must currently reside in the U.S.
-Passion and interest in the wine industry

Strongly Preferred Attributes:
-Previous harvest experience
-Ability to speak and understand Spanish
-Forklift experience
