In 1981, we planted our first vineyard with a mission to make world-class Bordeaux-style blends, but since then we've expanded our knowledge of viticulture in the unique region of Paso Robles. At JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery, we combine traditional Old-World methods like hand-harvesting and small-barrel aging in French oak with New World technology.

JUSTIN is growing and looking to add an Administrative Assistant within our Production team. Located in beautiful Paso Robles of CA, JUSTIN Winery makes world class wines that reflect the unique soils and climate of its California Central Coast property. You will perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities. This role will facilitate the efficient operation of the Winemaking team, while always keeping a professional company image through in-person and phone interactions.

A Day In The Life at JUSTIN:

-Performs administrative duties in support of the production department
-Answers telephones and transfers to the appropriate team member
-Meets and greets clients, contractors and visitors
-Manage influx of vendors through management of entry gate (security) to the facility.
-Manage necessary office supplies (order when necessary) for Winemaking, Finance, Administration, and other employees of the Production Department.
-Collaborate with other business entities including, but limited to, Production, Finance, Recruiting, and Human Resources.
-Works with administration team to balance daily work orders
-Creates daily work orders in JD Edwards
-Files daily work orders in sequential order
-Works with Production Department to ensure all bill of ladings, scan data, and other necessary documentation from Shipping and Receiving is turned in and disseminated appropriately throughout the Business Unit.
-Assist with annual harvest recruiting practices and interviews, as needed, in collaboration with the Recruiting Team at JUSTIN.
-Any other duties assigned

Your Contribution to JUSTIN:

-Bachelors or equivalent experience and two (2) years of operations management, purchasing, logistics, supply chain or retail product design or sourcing management. Past responsibility managing a team is required.
-Experience in customer service is required. Wine or hospitality industry knowledge desired.
-Must have experience with in-depth financial reporting, including past knowledge creating spreadsheets
Knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Excel (including formulas, tables, charts) and PowerPoint are necessary
-Proven success working with others, but must be self-motivated and can work just as effectively alone or remotely when needed
-Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to people at all levels from executive to line level
-Must possess a "big picture" perspective and be able to lead tasks or projects from beginning to end
-Able to handle a fast paced, multi-faceted environment.
Multitasking, prioritizing and providing insightful feedback to management is commonplace
-Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English, secondary language skills are a plus
-Must be able to perform technical calculations, assemble data in spreadsheets and charts/graphs, and maintain budgets.
-Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
-Travel between JUSTIN and Landmark may be expected at 0-5% if needed
