HVW farms & produces Pinot Noir, Tempranillo, Riesling, Chardonnay & Sauvignon Blanc using organic & biodynamic methods. As a grower and wine producer since 1999 in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, our handcrafted wines begin in the vineyards we own and farm. We emphasize low yields and careful hands-on management of the vines to produce wines that express the unique characteristics of our vineyard sites, including our older vines planted in the early 1970s.

Successful candidates will have a can-do attitude, be willing to work in a team environment, and have a flexible schedule. We provide a daily full meal mid-day for interns.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Crush pad and sorting line operations
• Cap management – punch-downs
• Barrel activities (racking, filling, topping)
• Monitoring fermentations
• Additions to wines/must
• Winery and equipment sanitation
• Complying with safety requirements
