Hanzell vineyards is a small family owned winery overlooking the town of Sonoma. We produce estate grown chardonnay and pinot noir of the highest quality. The original winery was started in 1957. Caves and a new winery facility were built in 2004.
Job Description
Hanzell is looking for a harvest intern for the 2018 vintage. The internship involves hands on experience in the vineyard, laboratory and cellar. Job duties will include vineyard sampling, sanitation, lab analysis, grape processing, fermentation monitoring, data entry, punch downs, racking and more. Preferably the applicant will have worked at least 1 previous harvest. Also, they should have a basic understanding of wine making processes, be able to perform physical labor involved in cellar work, be willing to work long variable hours and still have a sense of humor after working 12 hours.
