Job Description

Le Vigne Winery is looking for a full time cellar worker for harvest 2017 and beyond. This is an opportunity to join a fully integrated organization experiencing all aspects of quality wine production from harvest to bottle and all the steps in between. Experience is preferred but we will train the right individual.
Partial list of duties includes:
•  Receiving and processing of grapes
•  Pump overs and punch downs
•  Chemical additions and inoculations
•  Pressing
•  Barrel downs
•  Transfers
•  Cleaning and sanitation
•  Bottling
Candidates should possess the following traits and abilities:
•  A desire to make quality wine
•  A strong work ethic
•  Flexibility to work extra hours and days if the need arises
•  Basic understanding of the winemaking process
•  Ability to lift 50 pounds
•  Ability to stand for long periods
