Sanford Winery & Vineyards is located in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills A.V.A. of Santa Barbara County, California. Our estate has two adjacent vineyards, La Rinconada and Sanford & Benedict Vineyard, encompassing over 200 acres from where we source all of our Pinot noir and Chardonnay.

Job Description:
We are looking for one candidate who is hard-working, thorough, and has a strong interest in the production of quality Pinot noir & Chardonnay wines. It is preferable that he/she has prior work experience in the winery/laboratory and has completed or is continuing coursework in Viticulture and Enology.
The ideal person would be a team-player, who is naturally motivated, has a good work ethic and pays close attention to detail.
The Harvest Enologist is responsible for running the majority of the laboratory analysis, entering data, and communicating all information to Winemaker/Associate Winemaker in a thorough and timely manner. In addition, daily tasks will include fermentation checks and additions, as well as vineyard sampling & cellar work as needed.
Applicants must be able to lift 50lbs, have reliable housing and transportation, and be at least 21 years of age.
