Ram’s Gate Winery is a premium, boutique winery focused on making expressive wines through people, vintage, and thoughtful winemaking. We work with several varietals mainly focusing on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Rhône’s. You will work within an intimate winemaking team allowing you to see all aspects of harvest operations from vineyard to barrel. Our desire is to provide an inclusive atmosphere to learn about winemaking, while also operating an efficient harvest focused on making great wine.

Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
• Operation of harvest equipment
• General winery cleaning and equipment sanitation
• Wine/must movements
• Pump-overs and punch-downs
• Draining, digging, pressing tanks
• Fermentation monitoring
• Barrel work – filling, topping, consolidations
• Vineyard Sampling

• Passionate about wine, food, music, and of course great coffee!
The ideal candidate must also have the following attributes:
• Ability and willingness to learn with a positive attitude.
• Organized and detail oriented, with strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Self-motivated and willing to assume additional responsibilities.
• Possess high standards of ethics and integrity.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, frequently and more than 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to stand for long periods of time on hard and sometimes slippery surfaces.
• Desire to see a job completed, sometimes working 6-7 days a week during harvest season.
