Ancient Peaks Winery is seeking a qualified harvest intern for the 2022 vintage. Our family-owned winery invests in individuals willing to work hard, have a positive attitude and who thrive in a team environment. Our vineyards have a long and celebrated history in the small town of Santa Margarita. The winemaking team works hard to showcase this exceptional vineyard by producing delicious wines that provide a unique sense of place.

Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with winemaking additions (inoculations, nutrient adds, etc..)
- Assists with punch downs/ pump overs when needed
- Assists with crushing, fermentation and pressing
- Execution of proper sanitation procedures and equipment maintenance
- Tank washing
- Assists the crew in digging out tanks
- General Winery clean up
- Racking, transfers, barrel work
Job Requirements/Skills:
- self-motivated, reliable, and efficient
- ability to take direction and work well with a team
- able to stand for long periods of time
- able to life 50lbs
- positive attitude
- able to work long hours including weekends
- reliable transportation
- ability to communicate effectively
- being able to speak Spanish is a plus (though not necessary)
- must be 21 years or older
- previous winery experience preferred
- a general appreciation of wine preferred
