The Wine Foundry provides a one–stop shop for custom wine production offering a full range of services for wine enthusiasts, vineyard owners, and entrepreneurs, including everything from fruit sourcing to label design and e-commerce solutions for direct to consumer sales. The company’s 2014 vineyard guide includes 28 vineyards from California’s finest wine growing regions including Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Santa Barbara counties.

The Wine Foundry is a boutique custom winemaking facility located in southern Napa’s Crusher District. We are seeking a wine enthusiast to assist with a variety of projects related to marketing, sales, eCommerce, logistics and client relations. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience with many facets of winery business operations while working in a collegial environment with knowledgeable team members.

Candidate must have exceptional organizational and customer service skills and enjoy working with both co-workers and clients. Advanced wine knowledge is not required, but willingness to learn about wine and the wine industry is important. Candidate must have excellent computer skills and the ability to learn and work with our eCommerce platform. Must be 21 yrs. or older.

Responsibilities:
• Initial screening and response to all inbound inquiries
• Onboard new clients and introduce our custom winemaking process
• Outreach to clients by phone and email
• Participate in hosted winery events
• Work with eCommerce platform and assist clients with same
• Assist wine production team with winery logistics
• Participate in planning and execution of marketing initiatives

Job Qualifications:
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Strong computer aptitude. MS Office required; Salesforce a plus
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Valid CA driver’s license required

Other Time Demands & Requirements:
• Must be available to work occasional Sat, Sun, and holidays
• Pour at winery events on and off-site, when needed
