This is a temporary position expected to run from the end of August through mid-November. Prior winery experience preferred. Job assignments will vary and depend on experience. Employees should expect to work an average of 50-60 hours per week, and wages are competitive with industry averages based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Cleaning and sanitizing winery equipment and tanks
• Processing and sorting grapes
• Punching down and pumping over fermenting lots
• Making additions to juice and wine
• Transferring and racking juice and wine
• Managing barrels, including cleaning, filling, stirring, and topping
• Measuring and tracking fermentation data
• Enjoying beers after work
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as required

Qualifications:
Most importantly, a great work ethic and the ability to work as part of a high-performing team are essential. Harvest is challenging work but made infinitely better when working as a part of an outstanding crew. Ideal candidate will have forklift operation experience, be able to operate a winery equipment. Training will be provided.
