Candidates will be expected to contribute, in varying ways, toward the success of the Constellation Central Coast Grower Relations team. Under direction of the Grower Relations Director and Manager, this position is responsible for collecting/monitoring vineyard data for external vineyards. Data collection will consist of grapevine phenology date recording, cluster counting for crop estimation, vineyard observations and assessments, occasional maintenance of map books for external grower vineyard properties. During harvest, this person will collect grape and process grape samples for maturity analysis. The ability to recognize and advise grape management/winemaking staff of unusual vineyard conditions is desired. Opportunities usually range from May through beginning of November.
Vineyards:
The vineyard territory covers the Central Coast Counties of San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Monterey. A vehicle is provided to the qualified candidates
