Job Description:
Wrath Wines is a family-owned winery producing handcrafted, estate grown Monterey County
Wines - We specialize in small lot wines consisting of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc,
Syrah and Grenache. Total production is 10,000 cases.
Interns will experience all facets of harvest and work closely with our small winemaking team. Ideal
candidates must have the ability to work outside in various weather conditions, stand for long
periods of time, lift 50 lbs. and be able to push and pull 100 lbs. Must have good communication
skills and a positive attitude. This position is seasonal and can begin as early as July and go
through the end of December. During active harvest expect to work five days a week which may
include weekends. Average shift ranges between 12-14 hours/day. Normal overtime rules apply.
Responsibilities:
Perform proper sanitation procedures on all equipment
Tank and crush pad preparation and grape processing
Juice/wine additions
Juice/wine analysis
Grape sampling
Grape sorting
Pump overs and punch downs
Dig out tanks
Fermentation monitoring and maintenance
Barrel preparation
Barrel filling, racking and topping
Press/equipment operation
Overall cleaning and organization of entire winery
Forklift operation moving bins of grapes and barrels
Unloading and weighing grapes
Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Wear proper PPE
Properly operate safety monitors
Assist on the bottling line as needed
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
