Job Description:
Responsible for planning & executing day-to-day production logistics to ensure maximum productivity, efficiency, accuracy, and quality standards throughout. The role will encompass management of shipping and receiving purchase contracts, month-end oversight, demand forecasting, maintaining grape delivery schedules and bottling input and output for both internal and external sites. Writing business event documents and training new employees on the correct implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV “Vinpoint” software which will form an important part of this position and as such the role may include travel to VWE facilities outside of Napa and Sonoma. In conjunction with the Assistant Winemaker the role will be responsible for coordinating the bulk shipping and receiving of juice and wine ensuring high standards of reporting accuracy on shipping and receiving operations.
