Results Partners is a vineyard management company serving vineyards in both the Willamette Valley and Columbia Valley. We are seeking a Regional Assistant Viticulturist to join our team. This position would be based at our Willamette Valley location, where we manage vineyards under a variety of farming practices (LIVE, Organic, Biodynamic and conventional).

Job Description:
This position is ideal for a candidate with previous viticulture experience who enjoys working outside, data collection and has an eye for detail. We encourage innovative thinking and creative problem solving. Assistant Viticulturists hold project management roles and help supervise a team of summer interns in the completion of crop estimates and summer vineyard tasks.
Other Information:
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collect map data, create vineyard maps, irrigation maps, and hazard maps of acquired vineyards
• Pest and disease scouting
• Assist in management of summer interns
• Assist in vineyard trials: collecting data, data management and creation of presentations
• Collect yield data with the help of summer interns and create crop estimates to determine yields
• Ensure compliance with certification programs including LIVE (Low Input Viticulture and Enology)
• Coordinate installation and maintenance of weather stations
• Coordinate installation of block markers to clearly communicate vineyard block breaks in the field
Qualifications
• A degree in Viticulture or related field or previous vineyard experience
• Ability to work independently
• Must be able to work long days outside in variable weather conditions
• Communication skills; can communicate in English, Spanish speaking skills a plus
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Must be computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must have a good driving record, dependable transportation
• Must work long hours as required (6 days a week during our busy time)
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Must have a good sense of humor
