We are seeking individuals looking for opportunities to gain more experience in the field of Viticulture through these exciting paid internship opportunities at three of our Central Coast vineyard locations.

One internship is available at the following locations:

Soledad Vineyards (Soledad, CA)
King City Vineyards (King City, CA)
Pine Creek Vineyards (San Ardo, CA)

The ideal candidate will have a passion for knowledge and a willingness to learn, with a background in Viticulture or the Wine Industry.

These are temporary full-time, on-site internships. Schedules are determined on an as-needed basis to keep up with grape processing. This may include weekend work, and overtime hours. We hope to start assignments on or around May 1, 2023!

Responsibilities:
- Field Scouting
- Crop Estimates
- Water Stress Monitoring
- Irrigation Uniformity Checks
- Insect Trap Monitoring
- Harvest Maturity Sampling
- Operation of ATV
- Participate in training and safety programs to enhance job performance and knowledge
- Engage in safe operating procedures, support safety programs and policies to safeguard personal safety, company property, environmental and team members' safety

Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work from May through end of October
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends and overtime
- Recent graduate or pursuing a degree in Viticulture/Agriculture or related field
- Excellent organizational and communication skills – oral and written
- Experience in computer applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous winery harvest experience
- Ability to communicate in Spanish
- Strong sense of commitment
- Self-starter attitude
