Tablas Creek Vineyard Harvest Internship
Seasonal F/T
Tablas Creek Vineyard
Paso Robles, Ca
Tablas Creek is a pioneer of California's Rhone movement. Founded in 1989, it is the culmination of a friendship between two of the international wine community's leading families dating back to 1967: the Perrin family of Chateau de Beaucastel and the Haas family of Vineyard Brands.
Tablas Creek's Regernatative Organic Certified estate vineyard is largely dry-farmed, limiting yields and emphasizing character of place. Biodynamic practices - including a mobile herd of sheep, alpacas and guard donkeys - control weeds, fertilize and build healthy soils, capturing carbon and retaining the winter moisture.
Winemaking, including native yeast fermentation and the use of large, neutral French oak barrels, perserves the wines' connection to the land and vintage which produced them.

Tablas Creek Vineyard is looking for harvest interns for the upcoming 2023 Vintage!
We are a 270-acre Biodynamic, Organic, and Regenerative Organic Certified estate located in the West hillsides of Paso Robles, California. We crush around 300 tons estate fruit with an additional 200 tons local fruit for our Patelin label. Our production is Rhone inspired so you will be working with varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Viognier, Roussanne, as well as some more esoteric varieties like Vaccaresse, Bourboulenc, Terret Noir, and Picardan. Plus a couple fun additions such as Tannat and Vermentino!

This position will require flexibility, attention to detail, efficient time management, solid communication, wine knowledge (and passion), and above all excellent team working skills. Applicants must also be willing and able to work long hours and perform physically demanding tasks while maintaining a positive attitude. We are a moderate size team in a cellar with lots of moving parts to provide opportunities for expanding your knowledge and skill set.

Some points that will be considered advantageous:
- Previous harvest experience
- Forklift Certification
- Wine education
- Lab experience

This position will run roughly from the beginning of August through the beginning of December; dates may vary depending on Harvest prediction and how it plays out. Start and end dates are flexible, but please note it is a *seasonal full-time* position. Applicants must be available Monday-Friday (and some Saturdays) and able to work for long hours.

Not provided, so you will need to secure these yourself if hired:
- reliable form of transportation
- accommodation

Please send resume and cover letter to chelsea@tablascreek.com
We look forward to hearing from you!
