Tamber Bey is a family owned, premium winery and custom crush facility located in Calistoga. We produce wines from our estate as well as from fruit sourced from highly regarded vineyards throughout California.

Job Description:
Interns will be exposed to a wide variety of fruit while focusing primarily on high-end Napa Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Sonoma Coast. We also bring in smaller quantities of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache, Syrah, Nebbiolo, and Petite Sirah. In addition to the Tamber Bey estate-grown wines, interns will see a number of boutique custom-crush projects, including (but not limited to): Boars’ View, Senses, Aston Estate, Shibumi Knoll, Hobel, Myriad, and Quivet.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Sanitation
Fruit receiving/Processing
Barrel work and hygiene
Fermentation management
Draining and Pressing
Inoculation/ Additions
Onsite forklifting
All interns are responsible for their own HOUSING and TRANSPORTAION. Specific start and end dates will be decided once the growing season progresses, but generally the internship begins in early August and ends in late October early November TBD!
Prior experience is desired; however, it is not required. What Tamber Bey values to a greater degree are positive attitudes, great work-ethics, and the ability to adapt with the season. As with most agricultural jobs, the capacity to lift 50 lbs., climb stairs, push/pull heavy objects (like pumps and stem bins), and stand for long periods of time in both cold and hot weather is required. Candidates are also expected to work long hours including nights and weekends.
Ideally, we are looking for positive, self-motivated, passionate people that push themselves to learn and get better every day.
