Job Description:
Join our small team of experienced, dedicated and passionate winemakers for the 2023 harvest season! We are looking to add a team member who shares the same drive, attention to detail and love for the craft. Your role will be among a four person production team with intimate involvement in all aspects of the winery and harvest production. Vineyard sampling, fruit receiving, sorting, CLEANING, destemming, pressing, fermentation management, barrel work, CLEANING and more CLEANING. Be prepared to do physical work for long hours, and be rewarded with thoughtful and intentional discussions on winemaking philosophy over lunch or dinner. We like to work hard and have fun!
We'll require your commitment from late-August to mid-November. The position will foster quality, productivity, and teamwork in the winery. You'll work with fruit from small microclimates from Santa Barbara County up to Paso Robles. We'll implement unique and specific approaches to each variety with a clear goal of quality wine in focus.
Please inquire with us if you have a serious passion for wine and a strong work ethic. Previous harvest experience is a plus!
