Description:
Lodi Vintners INC is seeking a harvest enologist to augment our winemaking team at our Custom Crush Acampo Winery.
The Enologist, under the direction of the winemaker, will have responsibility for performing routine and specialized laboratory analysis, monitoring fermentations, and assisting in all winery operations as needed.
Ideal candidate will have or be pursuing a degree in Enology or related field of study as well as some experience/familiarity with winemaking in general. Background/training in chemical and physical analysis is a strong plus for this position as is computer record-keeping skills. In addition to being energetic and ambitious, the position requires working extended hours and weekends during the harvest season. Strong time management and organizational skills are a must. This is a physically demanding position and requires the ability to lift & carry up to 50 lbs, the ability to climb stairs and work at heights, and the ability to work in changing conditions.
Pay: DOE
