Phase 2 Cellars is the Central Coast’s leading custom crush facility of premium and ultra premium wines. Home to numerous clients, both small and large, we offer an unparalleled opportunity to experience a myriad of winemaking styles and practices. Interns will work closely with high quality Edna Valley Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, an extensive Rose program as well as acclaimed Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Albarino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petite Sirah and many other varietals from Monterey, Paso Robles and Santa Barbara County.
We are seeking a hard-working, organized individual for our lab position to collect samples and perform routine analyses of grapes, juice and wine. Training will be provided as needed.
$18-$20.50

Analysis of grapes, juice and wine by wet chemistry and a Y25 autoanalyzer
Set up and calibrate laboratory equipment
Prepare reagents, standards and solutions
Collect samples from tanks, barrels, bins and trucks
Monitor quality control during bottling
Perform and record work neatly and with precision
Maintain a clean, orderly workplace
The ideal candidate should possess:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
Walk, kneel, bend and stand continuously for 8 or more hours a day
Climb stairs
Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
Work in both cool cellar temperatures and warm outdoor temperatures/conditions
Work overtime, including weekends
