Company Description:
GTS - Global Technical Services - is the team responsible for providing technical
support to SW licensed growers around the world in growing SW varieties. The GTS
focus is to help farmers to exploit the full potential of SW varieties and increase their
yields and quality performance. A section of the GTS - Applied Varietal Research - is
focused on conducting applied research and trials on new varieties to develop info
and solutions for SW Growers worldwide.
Pay Range:
$16 per hour

Job Description:
GTS – Global Technical Services Applied Research Intern is responsible for supporting
data acquisition, processing, and interpretation for new and ongoing research
projects. This internship capitalizes on skills in applied table grape research, as well
as provides room for growth and training in new areas. Interns will get a unique
opportunity to connect with a range of industry members on a local and global
scale.

QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED
• A second-year student onward, studying viticulture or horticulture with
motivation for areas of innovation and sustainability.
• Ability to communicate honestly, effectively, and professionally.
• Adaptable to changing situations, quick to solutions, detail oriented,
organized and collaborative.
• Skills in excel and related platforms.
PREFFERED
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
TIME AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Hours may differ between weeks starting at early as 7 AM
• Ability to do walking, standing, squatting, or kneeling extended periods of
time in San Joaquin Valley field conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
