Some tasks include vineyard sample processing, fruit processing, barrel washing/steaming, punch downs and pump overs, additions, topping, pressing, barrel filling, and, of course, cleaning. Our goal is to give everyone a well-rounded and hands-on view of all that goes into making outstanding wines. We are a small team so you will work alongside our full-time staff and become very familiar with every aspect of our process. We welcome and are happy to answer questions as they arise and strive for a collaborative environment.
Previous harvest or forklift experience, while helpful, is not required. What is required is a general drive to work hard during long days, especially during the peak of harvest, an eagerness to learn, ask questions, the ability to work safely, an ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., pull 100 lbs. at least 20 ft., stand for prolonged periods of time, climb ladders, stairs, and catwalks, stoop, lift overhead, and kneel.
The position would begin early August and run through October or mid-November, depending on the season. Weekend work is required, as is flexibility based upon harvest conditions.

Applicants from outside US must have current authorization to work in the US (J1 visa).
Robert Biale Vineyards is an equal opportunity employer.
