Other Information:
Harvest season at Broc Cellars is an incredibly exciting and busy time at the winery. You can expect to work multiple long days and hours, oftentimes beginning and ending a shift while it's still dark out.
Harvest at an urban winery is a very different experience than harvest seasons at traditional wineries with vineyards. As an intern, most of your time will be spent at the winery in Berkeley (and not
at any vineyards), typically loading/unloading grapes and performing sanitization duties.
Our harvest team is small and tight-knit, sharing the same understanding that harvest is a time of working hard, while keeping a positive and cheerful attitude throughout the long shifts. As a small team, it's imperative that we find like-minded individuals who support, motivate, and humor each other during this labor intensive season and share the "get it done" attitude.
The position reports directly to the owners, Asst. Winemaker, & Harvest Lead.
