San Simeon Estate Winery
Paso Robles
San Simeon Estate Winery is in the heart of the Paso Robles AVA. We produce small lot, superior quality wines from estate grown grapes with a focus on Rhone and Bordeaux varieties.

$19 - $24/hour depending on experience
July 15th
December 20th
San Simeon Estate Winery is looking for one to two full-time interns for the 2024 Harvest season. Interns at San Simeon Estate have a unique opportunity to have an active role in the crafting of exceptional quality wines.

We aim to educate our interns in all aspects of winemaking, while giving them hands-on experience implementing what they learn. We expect our intern to be positive, open minded and willing to learn, have outstanding
attention to detail, and able to precisely follow instructions.

Job duties will include collecting and processing grape samples, assisting in receiving and processing fruit, monitoring fermentations, simple lab analyses (°brix, pH, TA, FSO2), equipment operation (sorting tables, destemmer, pumps, steam generator, pressure washer), tank and equipment cleaning and sanitization, and conducting punch downs and pump overs.

Some experience in these practices is desired, but not necessary.
The ideal candidates will have an interest in a career in fine wine production and a desire to be a team player with a positive attitude. This is a 3 – 4 month position with a moderate amount of overtime.
