Job Description:

Andrew Erickson Wine Consulting (ACE) is a small, quality-driven vineyard and winemaking team operating out of Napa Valley. We are seeking a seasonal intern who will assist with vineyard monitoring, harvest sampling, lab processing, and data collection to ensure well-informed picking decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting with vineyard monitoring, crop estimating, sampling estate and grower vineyards, processing and recording data, and communicating results with our winemaking team. Visiting multiple sites per day, recording detailed notes and observations, and in the case of harvest, taking cluster and berry samples for in-house analysis. An ideal candidate for this position exercises quality control, organization, and efficiency with all duties.
Qualifications and Requirements:

• Studying or completed college degree, preferably in Viticulture and/or Enology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A positive attitude and upbeat energy.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings.
• Comfortable outdoors in vineyard settings.
• Able to drive to various vineyards.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working alone on occasion.
• Able to learn and adapt to the season and team needs.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• An interest in working with a small team and premium cliental.
• A willingness to perform basic, routine tasks, as well as contribute at a higher level.
