About the Role: Our tasting room is a place where guests can explore our wines in a welcoming and informative environment. As a tasting room associate, you will be instrumental in guiding guests through their tasting experience, offering insights into our small-batch wines, and ensuring that each visitor leaves with a memorable impression of our winery. We value a clean and organized space, attentive service, and a genuine connection with our customers.
Responsibilities:
Conduct wine tastings, sharing detailed information about our wines, winery history and the AVAs of Santa Barbara County.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every visitor.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and bar area.
Manage transactions efficiently, including operating the cash register.
Restock wine and merchandise as needed.
Assist with opening, closing, and other day-to-day operations of the tasting room.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in the wine industry or a strong understanding of wine is required.
Professional, courteous, and approachable demeanor.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse clientele.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Looking for both part-time and full-time help.
