Edna Winery (formerly known as Edna Valley Vineyard) is in the heart of the Edna Valley and is a newly retrofitted winery which will produce wines from high quality organically grown grapes in small batches as well as large truckload batches.
The winery was purchased from E & J Gallo in December of 2024 by six partners who are local and have a connection to wine either through vineyard ownership or restaurant ownership.
On the team so far is Tyler Eck of Dunites as Winemaker, Stephen Dooley of Stephen Ross as General Manager, and Roe Klein as Enologist.

The internship will offer hands-on experience in a broad range of cellar processes. We are seeking motivated, passionate and hardworking individuals who are willing to learn and add to our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Pump-overs, punch-downs, inoculations, additions
• Operating presses, wine transfers, barreling down
• Assisting in crushing
• Vineyard sampling
• Lab analysis
• Barrel steaming, pressure washing, winery sanitation
• Assisting the cellar shift leads in all aspects of the winemaking process
Requirements and Qualifications:
• A hard working and detail-oriented personality
• A strong enthusiasm about winemaking
• An understanding of winemaking and viticulture
• Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Willingness to work overtime on a regular basis
• Ability to work early morning and/or late evening shifts
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Forklift experience a plus, but not required
