Margerum Wine Company is a Rhône-centric winery focused on crafting exceptional wines from Santa Barbara County grapes. We are looking for passionate and hardworking individuals to join our cellar team this harvest season.

As a Cellar Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work side-by-side with experienced winemakers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role offers hands-on experience with all aspects of winemaking, from fruit processing to fermentation and beyond. You’ll be involved in cap management, performing inoculations, monitoring fermentation progress, sampling and analyzing wine, assisting with topping and wine movements, and of course lots of cleaning! Get ready to work hard, learn a ton, and maybe even get a little wet and sticky.
Qualifications

• A strong desire to learn about winemaking.

• A can-do attitude and ability to thrive in a physically demanding, but rewarding, work environment.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

• Previous experience in a winery is a plus, but not required.

In return you’ll gain hands-on winemaking experience, work with some of the best grapes in Santa Barbara County, and hopefully have a great time doing it!
