400-450 ton facility located in Salinas looking for 1-2 interns. We have a diverse profile of varietals and styles

Job Description:
Looking for somebody to join our small team to help through harvest. Mainly with cellar activities, but some lab support as well.
Responsible for performing a variety of cellar operations including but not limited to:
• Grape receiving and processing activities
• Additions to wines/musts
• Cap management practices, such as pump-overs and punch downs
• Fermentation monitoring
• Barrel activities (cleaning, filling/topping)
• Equipment, tank and winery sanitation
• Other tasks deemed necessary will vary depending on daily needs
Other Information:
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working long shifts on your feet in a physically demanding environment
Willingness to do some dirty jobs
Capable of safely navigating stairs, ladders, and catwalks
Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency and time management
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
