Responsibilities / Duties:
● Successful completion of orientation and training
● Stock wine at start and end of shift as necessary
● Welcome and acknowledge guests to the BRV Tasting Room
● Provide excellent customer service
● Educate guests about our wines, winemaking techniques, and winery history
● Promote benefits of BRV Wine Club and actively sign up new members
● Build and maintain lasting relationships with guests and club members
● Perform sales transactions and customer entry using OrderPort POS system
● Answer phone during shift when able
● Book reservations through Tock while adhering to our booking policies.
● Assist with bussing tables, glassware washing, & maintaining overall cleanliness of TR & patio
throughout shift.
● Assist with set-up and participate in events (onsite and offsite) as needed.
● Other duties as assigned by manager/follow all company policies and procedures.
● Maintain satisfactory attendance, including punctuality

Qualifications / Skills:
● A passion for people and providing exceptional hospitality
● Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
● Positive attitude and the ability to multi-task
● Must enjoy working with and adding to a team environment
● Enthusiasm about wine and the desire to learn about it
● At least 1 year of tasting room associate experience or comparable experience/understanding of wine
● A strong understanding of or ability to learn Central Coast wine country, including the local
vineyards, unique AVAs and terroirs of the region, and the differences between them.
● Must be at least 21 years old.
● Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
● Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8hrs)
● Must be able to work weekends and holidays
