We are a boutique winery in the Sierra Foothills AVA, producing both sourced coastal fruit from Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties, as well as local Calaveras County vineyards. We are a small, hands on team, where everyone plays a role in each step of the winemaking and selling process.

Job Description:
Harvest Interns Wanted!
We are looking to hire lucky harvest interns for Val du Vino Winery and Integrity Wines. Work from late August to mid November (subject to change based on harvest predictions) in beautiful Murphys, California. Work with local foothills vineyards, as well as high quality sourced coastal fruit. A wide range of experience in varietals and winemaking styles is available, coming from a team with unique backgrounds.
We are a boutique operation competing to make the highest quality wines possible. Within a small production staff, you will have the opportunity to touch every step of the winemaking process, from monitoring grape ripening, to crush, ferment management, lab work, and tastings.
Possibility of leading to year round employment.
Primary Duties:
Processing of received grapes
Cleaning crush equipment
Operating forklift and crush equipment
Fermentation management
Punchdowns
Monitoring ferments (collecting sensory and lab data)
Ventures to vineyards for sampling, monitoring ripeness
Barrel work
Picking music until privileges revoked
Qualifications include:
Interest in learning about wine, winemaking, the wine industry
A degree in Viticulture/Enology, Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, related field, or upperclassman working to get a listed degree
Ability to handle the physical aspects of harvest season including bending, standing for prolonged lengths of time, lifting 50lbs, etc.
Ability to work long, flexible hours through harvest, including weekends
Valid Driver's license
