Viticulture Technician - Grower Relations

International wine company with huge Central Coast presence. Many opportunities in our company exist through departments such as grape growing, grower relations, laboratory, wine making, operations and sales/marketing.
Viticulture Technician – Central Coast Candidates will be expected to contribute, in varying ways, toward the success of the Constellation Central Coast Grower Relations team. Under direction of the Grower Relations Director and Manager, this position is responsible for collecting/monitoring vineyard data for external vineyards. Data collection will consist of: grapevine phenology date recording, cluster counting, crop estimation, vineyard observations and assessments, occasional maintenance of map books for external grower vineyard properties. During harvest, this person will collect grape samples as well as execute the processing of grape samples for basic chemistry analysis along side winery laboratory employees. Must be able to recognize and advise grape management/winemaking staff of unusual vineyard conditions. Opportunities usually range from May through beginning of November.

Pay Range: Dependent on candidate
